Kimberly Potts, Counselor

Kimberly Potts has played the flute for 8 years, and the piccolo for 3 years. She currently plays piccolo for the University of Nevada, Reno's marching band. She is currently studying Secondary Education and English as a Double-Major. 

Prior to that, she was the President of Ed W. Clark High School's band program in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has taken several courses with both UNLV and UNR specializing in secondary education, as well as attended multiple leadership camps, such as Rotary Youth Leadership Academy.

She first attended Wildwood as a student, entering her junior year of high school, and then returned every year since - finally as a counselor in Summer 2018. She intends to join the national music service fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi, in the fall, as well as continue her involvement in band for the remainder of her time in college.
WIMA, (Wildwood Institute of Music and Arts) is sponsored by Wildwood Music Associates, Inc., a non-profit  501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the advancement of the "Arts" through education and performance. Students qualified to participate fully in the Wildwood Summer Music Program are accepted without regard to race or creed.
