Alec Santamaria - Viola coach 

Alec Santamaria is on the music faculty at Renaissance Arts Academy, where he teaches viola, violin, music theory, and orchestra.

He received his B.A. in Viola Performance, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied under Richard Yongjae O’Neill. He holds the Richard Rintoul Viola Chair at the American Youth Symphony, where he has played for seven seasons.

​A graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Alec has performed at such prestigious festivals as Music@Menlo, the Boston University's Tanglewood Institute, Montecito International Music Festival, and Idyllwild Arts Academy. He made his international chamber music debut at the Zodiac Music Academy in Valdeblore, France, and Incontri in Terra di Siena in Montepulciano, Italy.
