Gaia Saetermoe-Howard - Oboe Coach

Gaia Saetermoe-Howard, currently under the tutelage of Richard Killmer, is pursuant of a BM in Applied Music at Eastman and a BA in Archaeology at the University of Rochester. Thus a captive student of music history and baroque oboe, she participated in Juilliard’s baroque music festival at Piccola Accademia in Montisi, Tuscany in the summer of 2018.

An active musician across the country, Gaia has performed with several orchestra, those of note The Syracuse Symphoria and California Philharmonic. She is a graduate of Los Angeles County High School of the Arts. With a passion for sharing her love of music, Gaia has been coaching oboe at Wildwood since 2017.
