Katie McNamara - Counselor

Katie McNamara started her musical journey as a child with piano lessons. In the fourth grade she began the violin, ultimately switching to the Double Bass in seventh grade. She is a graduate of Beckman High School where she was introduced to Electric Bass through her high school jazz band and her church worship band. From there it just stuck. 

Katie is currently pursuing a double major at California State University Long Beach. She splits her time between her two artistic passions; Music and Film. Her studies are focused on a String Bass Performance Bachelor of Music and a Creative Non-Fiction Film making Bachelor of Arts. 

Katie was first introduced to Wildwood as a counselor in the Summer of 2017 and has been counseling ever since.
