He is currently working at San Marco Fire Baugh High School as the percussion instructor/music tutor, in addition to serving as a music coach for multiple schools in the greater Los Angeles county. Nathan has been playing instruments in the fourth grade,. At an early age he decided to become a music teacher. After starting on flute in elementary school, he gradually added saxophone, percussion, brass, woodwinds, and strings. Many of these instruments were learned out of the need to coach new students at nTyme, who needed someone to coach them in order for them to participate in the performance ensemble.
