Sean-Paul Gouw, String Bass coach 

Sean-Paul Gouw has been involved in music since the fourth grade, learning the double bass on his own until university. Graduating from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) in 2016, he there discovered his love for teaching and composing, and is currently working towards a BM Composition degree at California State University Fullerton. With his passion for music, Sean-Paul now studies with Brian Johnson and Pamela Madsen, in hopes of eventually joining the film industry.

​An avid player and educator, he has performed with and coached at many groups around Los Angeles and Orange County, namely the LACHSA Symphony Orchestra, CSUF Wind Symphony, Jr Philharmonic, Olympia Youth Orchestra, Video Games Live Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, and the Harmony Project. A brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Sean-Paul commits himself to advancing music in America, volunteering at YOLA, SCSBOA, and various other youth-focused music programs, leading him to Wildwood in 2018.
