Tim Thomas - Saxophone coach

Tim Thomas first learned of Wildwood Music Camp as a middle school student when he attended Wildwood. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from California State University, Fullerton. While at CSUF, he studied saxophone with a classical emphasis under James Rotter, the on call saxophonist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Pacific Symphony.

Tim is also has been enlisted in the Army National Guard for 14 years. In the military, he plays saxophone with 40th Infantry Division Band located in Los Alamitos, California. Additionally, his tasks in the military reserve include conducting and Drum Majoring for the military band’s various events and busy schedule. Tim’s full time job and
career is teaching band and orchestra in the Tustin Unified School District, assigned to Foothill High School and Hewes Middle School.
WIMA, (Wildwood Institute of Music and Arts) is sponsored by Wildwood Music Associates, Inc., a non-profit  501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the advancement of the "Arts" through education and performance. Students qualified to participate fully in the Wildwood Summer Music Program are accepted without regard to race or creed.
